Amy Alexis Communications specializes in business communication and technical writing. Each project begins by identifying the target audience and goals of your corporate communications to determine the best way to deliver your message. With a broad range of experience, we can meet your print and online communication needs. We have partnerships in place with graphic designers, software engineers, and printers for a full-service solution.
The founder of Amy Alexis Communications, Amy Sherman, has a Master's in Information Design from the University of Michigan. Information design is the study of how people read and process information both online and in print. It draws on principles from typography, graphic design, human factors, psychology, writing, and computing to understand how to make information accessible and usable.
Prior to starting her own business, Amy served as the Marketing Communications Manager for Hemisphere GPS, overseeing both marketing and technical communications. Her broad range of experience includes copywriting, article writing, websites, manuals, quick reference guides, data sheets, online help, proposals, template development, and translation project management. Over the past 15 years, her career has included positions at AlliedSignal, Eldorado Computing, and Fry Multimedia.
